BAND MEMBERS

 

Lou Adams Jr., Leader of Le Cabaret Orchestra, with his unmistakable sweet trumpet sound.

 

Jewara Adams, Trumpetist, third generation of the famous Adams trumpet dynasty.

 

William Alexander: Nassau’s busiest Bassist has played with all the top Bahamian musicians.

 

Paul Hanna: popular and talented Jazz Pianist and Singer, a veteran of the Bahamian Jazz scene.

 

Yonell Justilien: Composer-Arranger and smooth Trombonist, founding member of Ambasah.

 

James Percentie, on Alto Sax, a rising talent from the National Youth Orhestra.

 

Tony "Shaggy" Rithie, on Baritone Sax, also from the National Youth Orchestra and performed for numerous Cacique Awards shows.

 

Lawrence Russell , experienced Drummer, better known as the main drummer for the Mighty Makers in the 70's.

 

Teddy Russell, a rising young Bahamian Trombonist.

 

Lynden Sands , Tenor Sax, also from the National Youth Orchestra.

 

Rodney Simpson, jazz guitarist extraordinaire and also a music educator.

 

Ricky Williams, outsanding jazz and classical keyboard player, as well a music educator.

 

THE VOCALISTS

 

Anastasia, Bahamian Diva with class and style, stage presence and audience appeal; she has a wide and varied repertoire from jazz to R&B to pop to romantic ballads. Brian Christie, the Bahamian Johnny Mathis, smooth Balladeer and featured Soloist at the Silk Cotton Club. Duke Smith, the dynamic Singer and Band leader of the Duke Smith Affair; a polished, energetic performer whose fans are overjoyed to see him back.
